Expelled AMMK member Parimalam dares to hurl petrol bomb at TTV Dhinakaran car

Expelled AMMK member Parimalam dares to hurl petrol bomb at TTV Dhinakaran carFormer AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakaran’s car came under attack today i.e 29th July 2018, outside his house, the police said. The petrol bomb was hurdled on Saturday at Dhinakaran’s car by an unidentified miscreant in Chennai. The attack was carried out outside his house. Fortunately Dhinakaran,  escaped the petrol bomb attack  because he was not inside the car. A Senior Police officer said that an expelled party member of TTV Dhinakaran’s Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam, Parimalam along with his driver planned a petrol bomb attack. But the petrol bomb exploded when Parimalam and his driver tried to hurl it into the house of RK Nagar MLA Dhinakaran in Adyar.

According to the latest update,  the Petrol bomb was thrown on TTV Dhinakaran’s car when he was not in the vehicle. But Dhinakaran’s driver Pandian and his personal photographer Darwin and an auto driver who was standing nearby sustained, were injured in the petrol bomb attack. They were rushed to a nearby government hospital. It has also come out that rear windshield of SUV was also damaged.

Parimalam was arrested when he was rushing to a hospital for treating his injuries.The case has been registered  and the  investigation has been started. A grey-colour Toyota Fortuner car, was partially damaged in the petrol bomb attack.

According to the police report,  Parimalam said that he had spent around Rs 80 Lakhs for AMMK (Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam) but Parimalam sacked him. Due to this incident, he planned to hurl bomb which was unexpectedly exploded.  The police has also found machete in Parimalam’s suitcase.

P Vetrivel Perambur MLA and a Dhinakaran loyalist said,  “As the government failed to provide proper security to AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakaran, this shocking incident took place.”  AMMK workers are urging the Tamil Nadu government to provide high security for Dhinakaran. More details waited.
