The TV presenter and actress Gayathri Gupta is known for her progressive and liberal views. The actress is known for her debates in Telugu News Channels about casting couch issue in Tollywood and is also popular for straight forward and frank nature. Recently Gayathri Gupta gave a huge shock to everyone when she expressed her desire to get married to the controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV.
Recently during the media interaction, Gayathri Gupta said, “Casting couch exists in the film industry and since I spoke strongly about #MeToo, I did not get offers.” Later Fidaa girl Gayathri Gupta showered praises on Ram Gopal Varma by saying that he is a good person. Nalgonda born actress further added, “ Ram Gopal Varma turned out to be elder to me, or else I would have married him.”
Gayathri Gupta became popular with a short movie- Pelliki Mundu. She gained fame after acting in Ram Gopal Varma’ directorial venture Ice Cream 2 and Sekhar Kammula’ Fidaa starring Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi. Gayathri had also crooned, wrote, styled, and directed her music video in 2017, Ninnu Chusthu Unna.
