Surveen Chawla is one of the popular name in TV industry. She started her career with television soap operas and later she acted in few films. Surveen is known for her roles in movies and serials like Hate Story 2, Ugly, Parched and 24 etc. In the year 2018, she was seen in web drama Haq Se.
Surveen made her debut in Telugu film industry with the movie Raju Maharaju starring Mohan Babu, Sharwanand, and Ramya Krishnan, which was released in 2009. Recently Surveen Chawla opened up about her casting couch experience which she faced in film Industry. The actress said that she has faced casting couch multiple times.
During the media interaction, Surveen Chawla said, “I faced casting couch thrice. There was a time I was said to accompany a film-director for a recce and I was told ‘I want to know every inch of your body’. I just started ignoring calls from then on.” The parched actress added, “A big National Award-winning director from south called me. I had a very long audition there, I was unwell and I returned after audition. Then the director suddenly offered to come to Mumbai as I was unwell but I said ‘no’ to him.”
Surveen Chawla also talked about casting couch experiences in the Hindi film industry and said, “It happened recently. One film maker wants to know how my cleavage looks and one filmmaker wants to see how my thighs look.”
