Anushka Shetty who was last seen in woman centric movie Bhaagamathie, is all set to play the female lead in her upcoming movie Silence. Recently Kona Venkat revealed that he is planning to bring Hollywood actors on the board to play the important roles. Now according to the latest update, Michel Madsen has been roped in Anushka Shetty starrer Silence. He will be seen playing the role of villain.
Michael Madsen is popular for his roles in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill Volume 1 and 2, The Hateful Eight, Papa, Death in the Desert, Vigilante Diaries. Michael Madsen is currently busy in his upcoming Hollywood movies- Trading Paint and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which are in post production stages.
Michael Madsen has starred in many feature films and television series.
Touted to be a thriller drama, which will be entirely shot in US, will be the first Telugu crossover featuring Hollywood actors. The sources close to the film maker reveal that the movie will have Hollywood shades. The regular soot of the film will be started from the month of March.
Currently Anushka Shetty is preparing for her part. Popular Telugu producer, Kona Venkat is bankrolling this project. It is directed by Hemant Madhukar, who has earlier helmed Mumbai 125 KM and Vastadu Naa Raju. The thriller will be a silent film, with Anushka Shetty’s character expected to be deaf and dumb.
Silence will have Anushka Shetty and Kollywood actor Madhavan paired with each other after more than a decade. They earlier acted together in Rendu, which was incidentally the actress’s Tamil debut, which was directed by Sundar C and produced by Kushboo.
Madhavan was last seen in a negative role in Naga Chaitanya and Anu Emmanuel starrer Savyasachi, Anushka Shetty’s last release was 2017’s ‘Bhaagamathie’. Recently the actress visited Jaipur to attend the wedding of Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya and Pooja Prasad. Her pic with Prabhas went viral on social media.
