Ram Gopal Varma is one such director who can go to any extent in the name of publicity. Varma once known as a maverick director has made some stunning films both in Bollywood and Tollywood. His command on crafts, a new ideology was liked by many at that time. But the time has changed completely now. Ram Gopal Varma is now a director who makes films just for his existence. He looks out for any controversial point to make a film. If there is any, he immediately announces a project. Within a few months, he dishes out the project. His films lack conviction but are still surviving because of controversy. If RGV doesn’t find any controversial subject, he will make one just out of thin air. Just like how he did for his latest film Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu.
Ram Gopal Varma is saying that the picture is a political satire on the political scenario in Andhra Pradesh. Of course, many characters from the film resembles political heads in Andhra Pradesh. Varma boasts Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu as a futuristic film. Many objections were raised about the concept he took, a title he put and the character he showed. There are many petitions filed as well against the movie and its title. There is a petition filed which states that RGV is provoking caste feelings in the state.
However, Ram Gopal Varma has changed the title. Censor officials have demanded Varma to change the title if it needs to be censored. So Varma changed the title to Amma Rajyamlo Kadapa Biddalu. Whatever the title be, Varma’s intention is just to create controversy and live by it for a few months.
In Amma Rajyamlo Kadapa Biddalu, there are characters that resemble YS Jagan, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, Pawan Kalyan, KA Paul, and other senior political leaders as well.
