It is known news that Venkatesh Daggubati is stepping into the shoes of Tamil star Dhanush for the Telugu remake of Asuran, which is being helmed by Srikanth Addala. Priyamani is reprising the role of Manju Warrier from the original movie Asuran. Now according to the latest update, the makers of upcoming revenge drama Narappa, are going to release the first glimpse on the eve of Venkatesh’ 60th birthday.
The first glimpse of Venkatesh’ Narappa will be released today at 8 pm. The first glimpse is expected to be a video teaser. Venkatesh and Priyamani starrer Narappa is set against the backdrop of the rustic Rayalaseema region, and it will showcase Venkatesh in two drastic avatars.
Admitting that remake movies constitute 99 per cent of his success, Venkatesh Daggubati had stated in the past that Asuran is the right film for him after F2: Fun and Frustration and Venky Mama.
The revenge drama Narappa is being jointly produced by Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu. The gritty story will be a new one for the director Srikanth Addala who has so far directed feel good family movies. This is the first time, Venkatesh will be seen sharing the screen space with Priyamani.
