Ever since Power Star Pawan Kalyan decided to remake the Bollywood courtroom drama Pink, fans have been waiting to know who’d helm it. Now it has been finalized that it will be director Sriram Venu, fresh from the super success of MCA (Middle-class Abaayi) starring Natural Star Nani.

Pawan Kalyan chose Sriram Venu as he is convinced that the director can do complete justice to the script of Pink remake. The makers are planning to make a few changes in the script. Dil Raju will be bankrolling Pink remake, which will be presented by Boney Kapoor. The Telugu version is likely to have dialogues by Trivikram Srinivas. Pawan Kalyan has given a 20-day call sheet and the film is expected to go on floors later this year.

Currently, Allu Arjun is working with Trivikram Srinivas and after wrapping up the shoot of this film, he will start the shoot of Sukumar’s upcoming untitled film, which has Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead. Icon is the fourth celebration between actor Allu Arjun and producer Dil Raju after ‘Arya’, ‘Parugu’ and ‘DJ aka Duvvada Jagannadham’.
