In the month of October, last year, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya officially announced their separation, after there was months of speculation in the media, that all is not well between the couple. Recently during the media interaction as part of the promotional activities, Naga Chaitanya opened about the divorce.
Naga Chaitanya who was last seen playing the lead role in Love Story, said, “ Divorce is something taken in the best interest of both of us. If She is happy with it, I am also happy. It is in the best interests of us. It is the best decision for both of us and hence we decided to take e divorce.”
According to Naga Chaitanya, divorce is good for both of them.
On the work front, while Samantha has started shooting for her Tamil-Telugu bilingual ‘Yashoda’, she is awaiting the release of director Vignesh Shivan’ directorial venture ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal’ also starring Vijay Sethupathi and lady superstar Nayanthara in the lead. She also had ‘Shaakuntalam’, an international film to be helmed by Downton Abbey’s director Philp John.
Naga Chaitanya will be seen romancing with Uppena and Shyam Singah Roy fame Krithi Shetty in Bangarraju which also has Nagarjuna in the lead role.
