Flash: Country’s tallest “Ram” statute to be built

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said a statue of Lord Ram will be built in Ayodhya which would stand as the country’s tallest structure. Adityanath has announced this news in the meeting of his cabinet on Monday evening.

He declared that the magnum structure will be of 251m high in its place. This means Ram statue would be a way higher than the 183-meter Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel statue – the Statue of Unity – built in Gujarat.

UP CM further declared that this magnum opus structure would be installed in 100-acre site and it would seek technical assistance from Gujrat if required. In order to attract tourists, the government would be planning parking, food plaza and many more.

On speaking to this he said, “There should be arrangements for basic tourist facilities along with the digital museum, interpretation center, library, parking, food plaza, landscaping based on the theme of Lord Shri Ram”

If everything goes as expected the said statue would be the country’s biggest and tallest ever structure.
