Today, the Indian army chief General Bipin Rawat has declared that the terrorist camps that were destroyed in Pakistan’s Balakot have been reactivated. He further said that around 500 infiltrators are eagerly waiting to find a small space so that they can infiltrate in India.
On speaking to the media reporters at the Officers Training Academy, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat said, “Balakot has been reactivated by Pakistan very recently. That shows that Balakot has been affected. It had been damaged and destroyed. And, that is why people have got away from there and now it has been reactivated”. However, the Army chief has responded the Indian Air Force had taken some action and now they have got the people back there.
This comes as a response after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35(A) of Jammu and Kashmir by the Indian government to bifurcate it into two Union territories. On February 26th, IAF has launched a surgical strike on Balakot terror camps and blasted off all the camps, which are now re-activated and training terrorists to plan attacks in India.
