Aarogyasri and fee reimbursement was the most successful state government schemes introduced by the Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is taking a step ahead on one of those schemes, which is Aarogyasri. Speaking to this scheme, it has helped lakhs of poor in need of medical treatment.
With a leaping move to assure the poor in the state for better healthcare and service, AP CM YS Jagan has been upgrading the Aarogyasri with many beneficial additions. From the reports, it was known that Jagan has extended the limit of income for this scheme to 5 lakhs which means a family whose income to less than 5 lakhs can avail the Aarogyasri scheme.
It was also known that the Aarogyasri cards would be given to the eligible families from December 21st. Along with this, CM had a detailed meet with the Ministers yesterday asking the senior health officials to enhance the number of covered services under the scheme.
Jagan also asked the officials to list all the illnesses that cost more 1000rs should be covered under the Aarogyasri scheme. CM further asked to enhance the hospitals, 108 and 104 services by maintaining them in perfect condition all the time.
