Popular folk and revolutionary singer from UttarAndhra, Vangapandu Prasad Rao passed away. Vangapandu Prasad Rao breathed his last in the wee hours of Tuesday due to a heart attack. He was 77.
Vangapandu Prasad Rao had been ill for the past few days and he took his last breath at his residence in Pedabondapalli, Parvathipuram, Vizianagaram district on Tuesday morning. He was the founder of Jananatya Mandali in 1972. He inspired the villagers as well as the tribals with his folk songs. He was born in 1943 in Parvathipuram village of Pedabindapalli of Vizianagaram district.
