On Sunday, the Health officials said that there was no evidence of transmission of Covid-19Coronavirus in Hyderabad. Presently the transmission of coronavirus is happening through the imported cases. It means that the persons with travel history to affected countries returning to Hyderabad and transmitting the coronavirus to the local residents. Telangana government has taken all the necessary preventive measures to curb the spread of deadly disease coronavirus. The government is now planning to set up a 50-bed isolation ward at Gachibowli stadium.

Government is going to use Gachibowli stadium for isolation purposes and is all set to use the rooms which were available at the stadium.

The GHMC officials have issued the order to the sanitation department to look after the cleanliness at Gachibowli stadium and they have  already inspected the stadium and handed over the sanitation work to Circle 11 Serilingampally of GHMC. Gachibowli stadium will be developed as a quarantine center. GHMC officials have informed the media that in two days, the entire quarantine will be ready and they are prepared to handle the emergency situation.

The government issued an advisory to close the educational institutions, shopping malls, cinema halls and parks. Meanwhile the Corona cases in India has touched 110 in India.
