On the day of Gandhi Jayanthi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to declare the defecate free India. After Modi’s Swachh Bharat campaign, defecate free India would mark as the Modi’s another clean India move. According to the reports, it was known that Modi will be announcing the country open defecation free today evening, at the Sabarmati Ashram in Gujrat.

Both Congress and BJP have been trying extremely hard to claim the Mahatma Gandhi’s legacy by planning several events across the country. Today morning, PM Modi has visited the Rajghat and paid the floral tribute to Gandhi.

On the auspicious day of Gandhi Jayanthi, Modi tweeted as, “Tributes to beloved Bapu! On #Gandhi150, we express gratitude to Mahatma Gandhi for his everlasting contribution to humanity. We pledge to continue working hard to realize his dreams and create a better planet”.

Modi’s tweet has a video attachment in which the PM has lent his voice with a message of peace that is still relevant to the world community. Further, Modi voiced out the seven suggested habits by Gandhi which are wealth without work, pleasure without conscience, knowledge without character, visit without ethics, science without humanity, religion without sacrifice and politics without principles.
