Apart from Alia Bhatt, the movie Gangubai Kathiawadi also has Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, Shantanu Maheshwari, Seema Bhargava, Jim Sarbh and Ajay Devgn in the important roles.
The big budget drama of Alia Bhatt is produced by Bhansali Productions and the movie was released in Hindi and Telugu. It is based on a chapter from the novel Mafia Queens of Mumbai penned by S Hussain Zaidi. Prakash Kapadia and Utkarshini Vashiishtha penned the dialogues.
On the otherside, this year Alia Bhatt was also seen in Pan India film RRR, helmed by SS Rajamouli.
