Varun Tej starrer sport based drama Ghani, which is directed by Kiran Korrapati and produced by Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company, is gearing up for the grand release this month. The upcoming film marks the directorial debut of Kiran Korrapati and it has Dabangg lady Saiee Manjrekar in the female lead role. Apart from the lead actors, Ghani also has Upendra, Suniel Shetty, Jagapathi Babu, and Naveen Chandra in the crucial roles. As per the latest reports, the non-theatrical rights of Varun Tej starrer drama Ghani were sold for Rs 25 Cr.
The satellite, digital, and the dubbing rights of Ghani were sold for the mentioned amount. The movie is bankrolled by Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company whereas Thaman has rendered the tune. George C. Williams is the cinematographer.
Varun Tej is essaying the role of a boxer. He took professional training to play it with authenticity. He also underwent a physical transformation, to fit into the role. The young actor trained really hard for the boxer role in the film.
On the work front, Varun Tej has comedy caper F3 in the pipeline which also has Venkatesh Daggubati, Mehreen Kaur Pirzada and Baahubali fame Tamannah Bhatia in the lead role.
