Mega Prince Varun Tej is now coming up with a sport based drama Ghani, which was slated to hit the screen on 18th March 2022 but later the makers announced the postponement of the release. The sports drama, based on boxing, is written and directed by Kiran Korrapati. Today at 12.07 pm, the makers of Ghani are going to announce the new release date.
The actor has been prepping and shooting for Ghani for the past two years. Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the film’s shooting was delayed. Now that the film is complete, the makers are all set to announce a new release date. Saiee Manjrekar is playing the female lead.
The movie is jointly produced by Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company. Varun Tej is playing the role of a boxer and took professional training to play it with authenticity. Apart from Varun Tej, the film also has Jagapathi Babu, Upendra, Suniel Shetty and Naveen Chandra in the important roles.
Ghani has the music by S Thaman. George C Williams is the cinematographer and Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor.
Earlier during an interview, the producer Allu Bobby had said, “Ghani is a movie which is very close to our hearts.”
