In this Coronavirus pandemic, the sanitation workers are risking their lives and working under the hot sun, day and night. By spraying disinfectants in sensitive areas during these tough times, the  sanitation workers are among the front-line workers battling the Corona virus in India. Few days ago, Sekhar Kammula has come up with this initiative to provide refreshments for the workers.  Director Sekhar Kammula, who is currently working for upcoming directorial venture Love Story, was thrilled to see the gesture of GHMC workers who stood in line with ‘Thank You’ placards in their hands at the Gandhi Hospital,  Secunderabad.

 The GHMC workers thanked Sekhar Kammula for providing refreshments to them during this corona crisis. At the back entrance of Gandhi hospital, Secunderabad, the workers held placards of ‘Sekhar Kammula Thank you’ to convey their message.

 The film maker Sekhar Kammula said that this was a priceless gesture from the GHMC sanitation workers at Gandhi Hospital.

Ever since the lockdown came into implementation, Sekhar Kammula has been stepping up to help the needy people by providing groceries and refreshments. Recently he was in the news headline for helping the transgender community of Hyderabad with groceries.  Recently he also provided refreshments to GHMC sanitation workers.

On the work front, currently Sekhar Kammula is working with Sai Pallavi and Rana Daggubati for the movie Love Story.
