Godfather is an upcoming Telugu political action film directed by Mohan Raja and produced by Ram Charan, R. B. Choudary and NV Prasad under their banners Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films whereas the music is by Thaman. Godfather is the official remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Lucifer, it stars Chiranjeevi in the title role whereas Bollywood top star Salman Khan will be seen in a cameo role. If ongoing buzz in the media and the film industry are to be believed Chiranjeevi starrer Godfather’ digital rights have been sold to the popular streaming platform Amazon Prime Video for a whopping price. Neither the makers of Godfather nor the OTT giant disclosed it.

On 18th August, the makers of GodFather had announced the release date of the teaser with a special poster featuring Chiranjeevi and the teaser was out on 21st August one day before  the actor’ birthday.   The teaser showcased  Megastar Chiranjeevi making a heroic entry, firing guns like a pro. Minutes later, Nayanthara’s character was  introduced, followed by Salman Khan’s starry entry, riding a bike and firing guns.

 Satyadev, Gangavva and Sunil are playing the supporting roles in Godfather. On the otherside, Chiranjeevi will also be seen playing the lead role in Bholaa Shankar.
