Godfather is an upcoming film which has Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role and it is a remake of Malayalam drama Lucifer which is helmed by Mohan Raja. As the movie is gearing up for the grand release, the team is busy in the promotional activities.  Yesterday evening the makers of Godfather unveiled the trailer of Godfather.  Chiranjeevi’ screen presence, body language, way of  dialogue delivery are absolutely terrific. Thaman’s tantalizing background score for elevating Chiranjeevi is magnificent.

The trailer starts with the death of a CM PKR that leads to questions about his successor. The next scene introduces Chiranjeevi as Brahma, who has a huge fan following but also has several enemies in Politics. Towards the end of the video, the trailer introduces Salman Khan, who is essaying the role of  younger brother. Salman  Khan introduces Chiranjeevi as a Godfather. The trailer also gives a glimpse of Nayanthara and Satyadev Kancharana’s characters.

The Godfather trailer promises a perfect commercial entertainer this Dussehra festive season. Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan starrer  Godfather is scheduled to be released on 5th October in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.

 The movie is  bankrolled together by Super Good Films and Konidela Productions. Puri Jagannadh, and Samuthirakani are playing the important roles.
