If ongoing buzz in the media and the film Industry are to be believed, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is going to team up with Venkat Prabhu for his next project. Recently during an interview, Kollywood director Venkat Prabhu, who scored a blockbuster hit with Maanaadu, has confirmed that he is doing a straight Telugu film with the Akkineni actor. According to him, the upcoming film will be a bilingual and it will be made in Telugu and Tamil, which is set in the 90s. It is heard that Pooja Hegde will be seen playing the female lead in this yet-to-be-announced movie.
On the otherside, Naga Chaitanya will be seen next in Thank You, which is progressing at the brisk pace and is directed by Vikram K Kumar. In the meantime, the Akkineni actor is also doing a web series called Dootha with the same director. Touted to be a supernatural thriller, the shooting of this series is happening at a brisk pace. The web drama also has Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Parvathy Thiruvothu. Now, a fresh update regarding this will be made soon.
On the other hand, Venkat Prabhu is busy promoting his upcoming movie, Manmadha Leelai which has Ashok Selvan and Samyuktha Hedge.
