The young actor Kartikeya is currently working for his upcoming film 90 ML, which is directed by Sekhar Reddy. Few days ago the makers released a teaser from the film 90 ML, which received decent response by the movie lovers. Recently Kartikeya Gummakonda attended an interview and talked about his role and film 90 ML. RX 100 fame actor Kartikeya said “Good or bad, my film has been the talking point, right? I realised that it is important for actors like us that our film’s title grabs the eyeballs and creates a buzz among the movie lovers.
90 ML is being directed by the makers of ‘RX 100’, Kartikeya’s first hit and it is bankrolled by Ashok Reddy Gummakonda. Musician Roll Rida will be playing a key role in this upcoming romantic film. The film has Neha Solnaki in the female lead. This is the first time, Kartikeya is sharing the screen space with Neha Solanki.
Kartikeya made his debut in film Industry with ‘Prematho Mee Karthik’ in the year 2017 was recently seen in a negative role in Nani starrer ‘Gang Leader’, directed by Vikram K Kumar.
About 90 ML, Kartikeya said, “My upcoming film is not preachy about alcohol. It is about a guy who was born with a disease whose medicine is alcohol consumption as per doctor’ prescription. When the guy turns an adult, his dosage increases to 90ml. My mother gives me alcohol as a tonic from my childhood Hence, the caption of the film 90 ML is ‘authorised drinker’.
Hippi actor Kartikeya revealed, “I was initially apprehensive about whether I could pull off such a role. Earlier, I used to think of how engaging my role can be, but over time, I started understanding that the audience come to the theatres trusting my movie. So, I have become more responsible now. I want to try different genre films to reach out to a wider audience.”
