Tollywood macho star Gopichand has shown support to the daily wagers who are the hit in the novel coronavirus pandemic. Gopichand has donated Rs 10 lakh to the Corona Crisis Charity (CCC), which was co-founded by Megastar Chiranjeevi.
Corona Crisis Charity was set up by Sye Raa Narasihma Reddy star Chiranjeevi in an attempt to help the daily wage workers in the Tollywood, who are suffering during this lockdown period. Apart from monetary help, CCC is also donating rice and other food supplies to the needy and poor people.
Many Tollywood celebrities including Young Rebel Star Prabhas, Mega Star Chiranjeevi, Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Natural Star Nani, Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Vishwak Sen, Sukumar and others have donated money to the charitable trust.
We have already reported that Oxygen actor Gopichand has been sponsoring daily food to an orphanage of 1500 inmates for 2 months. He has also distributed the daily needs and groceries to about 2000 families.
On the work front, Gopichand will be seen playing the lead role in sport based movie Seetimaarr, which is being directed by Sampath Nandi, in which he is essaying the role of an Andhra Kabbadi team. Milky Siren Tamannah Bhatia is playing the love interest of Gopichand in this film.
