We have already reported that Tollywood hot chunk Gopichand is playing the lead role in upcoming movie Chanakya, which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of Tamil director Thiru. Today on the occasion of Gopichand birthday, the makers have released the first look poster of Chanakya.
The director Thiru took to his Twitter and shared the first look poster of Gopichand from Chanakya and wrote, “Happy Birthday @YoursGopichand Sir. Coming on the poster, Gopichand is seen in beard avatar and looks like a spy. Mehreen Kaur Pirzada is playing the lead role and Bollywood actress Zarine Khan is playing an important role. She will be seen performing action sequences. Chanakya is being bankrolled by Anil Sunkara under the banner of AK Entertainments and the film has the music by Vishal Chandrasekhar.
The sources say that Chanakya is a espionage thriller set in an army backdrop. About 5o % of the shoot has been completed, and the team is currently filming some crucial scenes involving Gopichand and others at a popular bar in Hyderabad.
Vetri Palanisami is handling the camera for Chanakya, which is expected to hit the screens this September.
