Gopichand Malineni  made his directional debut in 2010 with a Telugu action comedy film Don Seenu in which Mass Mahraja Ravi Teja and Shriya Saran played the lead roles. He has worked in many movies before his first directional venture. He has made commercial potboilers such as Bodyguard with Venkatesh Daggubati, Pandaga Chesko with Ram Pothineni and Winner with Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej.  Recently during the media interaction, Gopichand Malineni opened up about his long-cherished dream. The mass entertainers specialist Gopichand Malineni said that he is a huge fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna and that directing them has been his long-cherished dream.

Now we have to wait and see whether Simha star Balakrishna and Sye Raa fame Chiranjeevi will fulfill the desire of Gopichand Malineni. The director also revealed that he will narrate a story to a star hero in a couple of weeks. If everything will go accordingly, the official announcement will be made by the production house soon.

Once again Gopichand Malineni is working with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in action-drama Krack,  which has Shruti Haasan in the female lead role. In past, Gopichand Malineni and Ravi Teja have worked together for Don Seenu and Balupu.
