Gopichand was introduced as a hero with his first Telugu movie titled Tholi Valapu, which was released in the year 2001. As his debut film couldn’t become a milestone in his acting career, he then played villain roles in the movies like Jayam, Nijam and Varsham, and hit a success hat-trick with these movies.
After, he again approached the audience as a hero in the movie Yagnam which took him into success path and later, his success progressed with some other movies like Ranam, Mishima, Golimaar, Saahasam and Loukyam. He has earned a huge fan base gradually on his own.
Now, he has completed 21 years of his acting career in the Telugu Film Industry. On the occasion, he has penned a beautiful note on social media. Taking to Twitter, he tweeted, “21 years in the industry.. Grateful for everything that came my way and all the learnings. I wouldn’t be where I am today without all your love and support. Thank you to each and everyone who’s been a part of my journey!”

On the work front, Gopichand had recently faced a huge debacle with Pakka Commercial and again, he is going to be seen in an untitled movie under the direction of Srivasu.
