Today morning the news came out that the shooting of Shakunthalam has been put on hold as the director of the movie Gunasekhar has been tested COVID positive.
It is said that the team went into home isolation as well. However, the latest news is that Gunasekhar hasn’t contracted COVID positive. It was a false test.
Gunasekhar himself has revealed this news. “Hi Happy Ugadi to you all Yesterday I had a false positive COVID test during a routine testing activity that we do on sets upon further testing and inspection it was confirmed by doctors that I DO NOT have COVID and so I’d be resuming the shoot with all precautions in place Folded hands,” he tweeted.
Samantha Akkineni is playing the lead role in Shakunthalam.
