Performance: Lavanya Tripathi has given her noteworthy performance in this film. She  perfectly fits the role as Happy Tripathi. She got the opportunity to explore herself as an actress  rather than that of her regular glamorous side, limited to screen presence. Satya steals the show with his performance. His expressions,  way of dialogue delivery, facial expressions, grabs the attentions of everyone.  Vennela Kishore is good in comedy. The transgender characteristics are presented perfectly by him. Gundu Sudarshan, Rahul Ramakrishna, Viva Hasha and others are ok.

Technical: Some of the dialogues  of the movie Happy Birthday are very interesting. The production Values are  good. The music by  Kaala Bhaivara is good.  Coming to the director Ritesh Rana’ work, he has done a very good job with the film.  His screenplay format and satirical dialogues are the core strengths of the film  Suresh Sarangam’s cinematography gives a unique look to the movie.

Analysis:  Happy Birthday  is the next outing of director Ritesh Rana after his 2019 film ‘Mathu Vadalara’. Overall, Happy Birthday is a different attempt in the comedy genre.
