Harshita Gaur has been roped in the Telugu remake of Malayalam hit Angamaly Diarie, being helmed by Vishwak Sen. During the media interaction, Harshita Gaur said that she was called to audition for the role, and was very excited as she got the opportunity to make her debut in Tollywood. Harshita Gaur added “ The upcoming drama will narrate the travails of a Hyderabadi youth who wants to become a much-feared gangster. I am a playing a medico from Germany who visits Hyderabad to work for a project. Vishwak Sen is also the part of this remake and he is playing a street smart young man who forms a gang.”
Harshita Gaur further said, “I am enjoying learning Telugu on the sets and it is very easy language to pick.” The first schedule of this upcoming remake of Angamaly Diaries has been already started in Hyderabad and is expected to continue until 27th June. Harshita Haur has joined the sets. She is playing the role of Sakshi. In its original Malayalam version, the role of Sakshi was played by Binny Rinky Benjamin.
The original Angamaly Diaries was set in the small town of Angamaly in Kerala, whereas the remake is set in Hyderabad’s Old City. The dingy bylines of Lal Darwaza and Falaknuma will form the backdrop for this upcoming crime based drama. The makers have made few change in the script according to the taste of Telugu audiences.
Harshita gaur is a model turned actress. She played the role Sanyukta Agarwal in Sadda Haq. Later Harshita Gaur was seen in Karan Anshuman’ Web series Mirzapur starring Ali Faizal, Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Pankaj Tripathi, Sheeba Chaddha.
Angamaly Diaries, which was released last year, is a crime drama film directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, is focused on the gang wars that break out in the small town of Angamaly in central Kerala.
On the otherside, Vishwak Sen will be next seen in Tharun Bhascker’s upcoming comic movie, Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi.
