Hero Gopichand has been facing a tough time in his career. He has been without a hit for a very long time. Gopichand is currently working for the movie Seetimaar. This sports drama will be resuming its shoot from the next month. Sampath Nandi is the director of the film and Tamannah is the female lead. Seetimaar is being made on Kabaddi backdrop.
Apart from this, Gopichand has signed a big-budgeted action drama in senior producer BVSN Prasad’s banner. The project has been launched last year and it was planned that the shooting will start this year. Tamil director Binu Subrahmanyam came on board to helm the project. It is said that the project is not going to materialize and has been shelved for various reasons. As it has been shelved, the latest talk in the industry is that Gopichand has returned the advance Rs. 2 Crores he took from the producer.
Gopichand has teamed up with Teja once again for the movie Alivelu Manga Venkata Ramana.
