The Piracy has been the worst enemy of cinema of late. Ever since the advent of torrent sites, the movies which get released in theatres are up for download on these sites barely hours after the release. Now Kartikeya starrer romantic drama Hippi, has become the victim of piracy. The full movie is available on line for the free download, which will affect the box it is being heard that the movies have been leaked to various torrent sites including Tamilrockers, madrasrockers, jio rockers, and moviezwap.
Hippi received mixed response on its opening day. And film made it to the web in a pirated form, as website Tamilrockers leaked the film, which shocked and surprised many. Hippi, which had created a buzz with its trailer, has become the victim of piracy. The TN Krishna directorial, however, emerged as a disappointment.
According to reports, Hippi got leaked online and fans have urged the makers to take severe action against the website where the film leaked. The same website reportedly also leaked films like Sarkar, Kaala, Petta, Thugs of Hindostan, Majili, Bharat.
Hippi is bankrolled by Kalaipuli S. Thanu under the banner of V Creations. Digangana Suryavanshi and Jazba Singh are playing the female leads in this film.
