Performance: Kartikeya is excellent as Hippi. He has given fantastic performance. His body languages, and facial expressions are appreciable. He is in superb form, especially the ease and energy levels. Digangana Suryavanshi Is very glamorous and performed really well. The chemistry between the lead pair is showcased in a realistic way. Digangana Suryavanshi might be the only one who took her role far too seriously in the film. Right from her introduction scene to the climax, she is consistently good in terms of her body language . After a gap D Chakravarthy made his come back on the screen. He is fine in his role. Comedian Vennela Kishore evokes a few laughs with his funny dialogues. Rest of the cast performed accordingly.
Technical: Director TN Krishna chooses comic book style visuals which are interesting. There are number of double meaning dialogues. Cinematography of the film by R. D. Rajasekhar is alright. The songs are good. Nivas K. Prasanna sets the mood up for the film with his background music . Editing is fine. Cinematography is pleasing to eyes. Art department did a fine job. Production values of V Creations are lavish..
Analysis: Hippi is an average romantic entertainer movie. Plus points of the film are Kartikeya’ characterization, Digangana Suryavanshi’ glamour and entertainment. The double meaning dialogues spoil the plot.
