On Thursday, natural star Nani unveiled the teaser of his production venture HIT 2, starring Adivi Sesh in the lead role. The investigative thriller drama is helmed by Sailesh Kolanu, who also directed HIT: The First Case. According to the makers, Hit 2 teaser is Trending #1 on YouTube. The makers confirmed the same by sharing a post on Twitter handle.
The teaser of Hit 2 starts off on a fun and quirky note and establishes the charismatic aura of the cop character, played by Adivi Sesh. However, the tone changes, both of the character and the film, when police discover a dead body of a woman. Her body parts are all severed up and it looks like a ritual killing. A voice-over runs in the background as the suspense builds up. Now, Adivi Sesh will have to bring his detective skills to the front and tackle the murder mystery at hand.
Adivi Sesh has replaced the lead actor of the first HIT film, Vishwak Sen who is best known for acting in Falaknuma Das and Paagal. Hit 2 is Adivi Sesh’s second release this year after his pan-India blockbuster drama Major. The Mahesh Babu production, shot in Hindi and Telugu, was based on the life of 26/11 hero Sandeep Unnikrishnan.
