We have already discussed that Mahesh is a huge movie buff and watches movies in his free time. Recently he watched two Tamil films Asuran and Khaidi. He showered praises on both the films. While he termed Asuran as raw, real and intense, he ended up saying Cinema at its best. While coming to Khaidi, he heaped praises on Karthi’s performances and described Khaidi with the word new age film making. Tamil moviegoers are very happy with the way Mahesh reacted to two of their recent best hits.
On November 7th, on the occasion of Kamal Hassan’s birthday, Mahesh wished Universal Star with his tweet. He said that Kamal Hassan’s contribution to cinema has been phenomenal. He even congratulated him for completing 60 glorious years of acting. He said that Kamal’s journey is really inspiring. Mahesh Babu even shared the first look of Rajinikanth’s Darbar Telugu version yesterday. He said that he is extremely happy to release the motion poster of this flick.
While wishing Kamal Hassan is happy news, Mahesh simply ignored one of our top directors Trivikram Srinivas who has got an amazing following in youth. He hasn’t wished Anushka Shetty either who shares her birthday on the same day. Incidentally, the trio, Mahesh, Trivikram and Anushka worked together for Khaleja. By wishing Kamal Haasan and ignoring wishing Trivikram Srinivas, Mahesh has left many people unhappy. What is his sudden love for Tamil cinema is what netizens questioning him on social media.
Mahesh is currently working on his 26th film Sarileru Neekevvaru which is scheduled for release on January 12th.
