Ever since the lockdown began in the month of March, schools have remained shut and a majority of them have taken to online classes to reach out to the students. Now the school managements are harassing the parents to pay the fee for the next academic year.
Several schools have been asking to deposit the full fees for the 2020-21 academic year. The parents are saying that even as the state education department has issued a series of regulations to ensure that parents get flexibility in paying the schools fees, several schools in Hyderabad are still not playing by the rules.
The parents are also saying that several schools are forcing them to pay the fees while many others are asking them to physically come and pick up stationery and other material from the school which is compulsory. In this crisis situation, the schools are blackmailing the parents.

One of the parents of the student from Hyderabad city said, “I was trying my level best to clear the payment (school fees) through my credit card but it failed. And I was shocked when I came to know that the school blocked my child name from the school app.”
