It is known that smoking cigarettes is not good for health. But I don’t know how to stop.  All this makes it difficult to break the habit even if we know what is happening to our health. Cigarette smoking is an accidental habit, not a must. There is a way to change any habit. It is enough to know that.

1. Nicotine Replacement: There are many alternatives like nicotine patches, nasal spray, inhaler, nicotine gums.  It reduces the desire to smoke cigarettes.

2. Place: You should stay away from places and reasons where you smoke frequently . Or some people have the habit of smoking after drinking tea or coffee, or some people after taking alcohol, some people feel like throwing up after any quarrels at home. Avoid those drinks before then. Do not do things that remind you of smoking. Some smoke while talking on the phone. Then keep a pen paper in hand and keep yourself busy by writing something. That thought does not come.

3. Chewing : You can eat bubble gum, candy, any vegetables you like, carrots, dry fruits, seeds etc. This will reduce the desire a bit.

4. Exercise :  Physical exercises make you forget the thought of smoking. If you get used to smoking at any time, then make it a habit of exercise, running, walking etc. It helps to break the habit gradually.
