A 16-year-old girl who lives with her family members in Chandrayanagutta, went to buy medicines from a nearby pharmacy on February 4, was gang raped by 4 men.
The police said that on 4th February night, she first went out to get medicines for her mother. Later, when she stepped out again, she was met by the 16 years old girl from her neighbourhood who persuaded her to come to a friend’s place at Bhoiguda for a birthday party.
The police revealed that the 4 men gang-raped the minor girl after giving her a soft drink mixed with alcohol at a birthday party. In her complaint, the minor girl revealed that a 16 years old neighbor went into another room with her boyfriend, and the remaining men started to misbehave with her. When she resisted their advances, the men offered her a soft drink mixed with alcohol. After the girl got drunk, the accused took turns to rape her. The police revealed that they had kept the music loud to ensure that neighbors would not hear any noise in the case the girl screamed.
After this shameless act, they left her at the spot and fled. The girl reached home the next morning and informed her mother about the ordeal, and based on a complaint from her parents, the Chandrayangutta police booked a case and started the investigation.
