Shobha, who suffered injuries when she tried to protect her 19 years old daughter Vaibhavi from the knife attack by the latter’s ex boyfriend at Miyapur, took her breath last while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital. She died on Thursday. As per doctor report, the woman suffered internal bleeding injuries and died.
The Police said that Shobha and her daughter Vaibhavi were attacked with a knife by Sandeep Kumar alias Babloo at their residence in Aditya Nagar, Miyapur. This incident took place on Tuesday morning when Sandeep Kumar came to the city from Bapatla after knowing that Vaibhavi’ engagement was fixed by her mother Shobha. The police revealed that he came to the city with an intention to kill her ex boyfriend Vaibhavi and himself.
Miyapur PS inspector N Tirupathi Rao, “Sandeep Kumar starting calling her from different numbers and started threatening her that he would kill her and after this he commit suicide.”
On Tuesday morning Sandeep Kumar approached their house to talk to Shobha in an attempt to convince her to reconcile the relationship with her daughter Vaibhavi.
When Sandeep attacked Vaibhavi, the mother tried to protect his daughter from Sandeep. She suffered injuries in her abdomen and chest and lost a lot of blood. The doctors performed a surgery on Vaibhavi’ mother Shobha could not succeed in saving her life. The body of Shobha was shifted to the mortuary for post-mortem.
