Tharun Bhascker is making his acting debut in Telugu Film Industry with an upcoming film Meeku Maathrame Cheptha, which is being bankrolled by none other than the young and talented actor Vijay Deverakonda. Currently, the entire team is busy in the promotional activities of Meeku Maathrame Cheptha, which is gearing up for grand release on 1st November. Recently during the media interaction, Tharun Bhascker opened up about his movie Meeku Maathrame Cheptha and revealed that the movie throws light on the significance of privacy in the era of social media and I was hanging on it when Vijay Deverakonda narrated the story of this film.”
Tharun Bhascker said, “Initially, I did not believe it when Vijay Deverakonda said to me that I was the hero of the film Meeku Maathrame Cheptha, but after a few script reading sessions, I got a hang of it.”
The director turned actor Tharun Bhascker added, “It is all about the story of a typically middle-class guy who has an anxiety disorder. I also had to shed a few kilos for Vijay Deverakonda’s production venture Meeku Maathrame Cheptha.”
Tharun Bhasckar praised Vijay Deverakonda by saying, “I was an introvert earlier. But after becoming a director and now an actor, I feel I have achieved something personally.”
The comedy entertainer Meeku Mathrame Cheptha has completed the censor formalities and received U/A certificate from the censor board with no cuts. Directed by Shammer Sultan, the film has come out well. Apart from Tharun Bhascker, the film also has Anasuya Bharadwaj, Abhinav Gomatam and Naveen George Thomas in supporting roles.
Recently the makers of Meeku Mathrame Cheptha released ‘Nuvve Hero’ promotional song which features Vijay Deverakonda. Global Cinemas is co-producing the film Meeku Maathrame Cheptha. The film has music by Sivakumar.
Tharun Bhascker who has helmed Pelli Choopulu is busy in the script work of his next upcoming flick in which Venkatesh Daggubati will play the lead role.
