VFX technician Pete Draper is a renowned computer graphics virtuoso, with a rich experience of over two decades in the visual effects industry. He is a popular name in the South Indian film Industry. He has worked with SS Rajamouli for the movie Baahubali 2 and recently released movie RRR. Pete Draper took to his Twitter and revealed that there were many scenes which were deleted from RRR before its release.
Pete Draper tweeted, “Fun fact 1: – I was in RRR . We shot 3 scenes.
Fun fact 2 – the scenes I was in were deleted or trimmed.
Fun fact 3 – it was a very good decision to cut them (the scenes didn’t help the story pace, added a distraction, & I have a face for radio). Best editorial decision ever.
Pete Draper also thanked SS Rajamouli by sharing a post on Twitter, “RRR Thank you SS Rajamouli sir, for your unparalleled vision. To me, every project is an experience of learning, in your epic storytelling. I am proud to be part of your projects from Sye (2004) to till RRR and I hope the journey goes on”.
It is known that the run time of RRR is lengthy (3 h 6 m) but the movie lovers are enjoying the movie. Now we have to wait and see whether Rajamouli and team of RRR will release the deleted scenes.
