Idam Jagath Review: Idam Jagath starring Sumanth and Anju Kurian, is a dark drama crime thriller, directed by Anil Srikantam, which has hit the theaters today on 28th December 2018. Sumanth was last seen in “Subramanhyapuram“, which was turned out commercially flop at the box office and this time he pinned lot of hopes. Let’s see the storyline of Idam Jagath.
Idam Jagath Story: Nishith (Sumanth) who suffers from sleep disorders, is a reporter in a channel, since he is crime reporter, starts shooting crime stories. In this process, he started to make money misusing footage. He comes in the contact of Mahati (Anju Kurian), and falls for her. As time goes by ,he shot a murder scene for the sake of earning money but unfortunately he indulged in trouble badly. How does he tackle the situation? Form rest of the story.

Performance: Sumanth has delivered his fantastic performance in the role of a person who is hungry for the money and can go to any extent. He slipped into the role effortlessly. Anju Kurian performed well impressing with her looks and showing her acting prowess. Suresh Menon as the main villain did his job well. Kalyan in his negative role, does well in the film. Rest of the crew justify with their roles.
Technical: Sricharan Pakala’s music for Idam Jagath is good. He elevated the scenes with his background music. He took the film to another level giving new experience to movie lovers. Bal Reddy attracted with his cinematography. His visuals and scenes capturing the natural scenic beauty gave thrills to the viewers. Garry Bh’s editing is OK but could have been better. Production values are good.
Analysis: Anil Srikantam selected an interesting story and became successful to impress the audiences. He attracted with his narration, story and direction. One of the biggest minus points of the film Idam Jagath is the love track between the lead pair. Anil Srikantam emerged successful in keeping viewers interested for most part of the journey.
