Expressing his intensive agitation towards the BJP party, Municipal minister K.T.Rama Rao warned the Telangana people not to vote for BJP. While speaking, he fired in front of the people that if they voted to BJP, then Telangana state will be merged with Andhra Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had already questioned the formation of the Telangana state, he said and urged people to decide whether they supported the BJP or not.
On Wednesday, along with minister V.Prashanth Reddy and Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, KTR also participated in several developmental programmes in Siddapur village in Varni mandal of Nizamabad district. During the public meeting, KTR asked, “What are the BJP leaders from Telangana doing when Modi speaks against Telangana? Do we need a party like the BJP which is questioning the formation of Telangana?”
He uttered that the BJP was trying to create a divide among the people in the name of religion, in lieu of aiming on developmental activity. He said Telangana was the only state in the country to provide a free power supply for 24 hours to the agricultural sector.
In the previous 7 years, KTR challenged the central government to prove if it had done anything for Telangana, and the BJP chiefs are making baseless remarks if the govt ask the centre about this. For integrated development in the Banswada Assembly constituency, KTR appreciated Pocharam Srinivas Reddy.
