It is known news that Stylish Star Allu Arjun has joined hands with Sriram Venu of MLA fame for an upcoming movie which has been titled as Icon.
Earlier it was heard that Allu Arjun is planning to rope Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt on the board to play the female lead but now it is being heard that if she will not give her green signal, the makers will approach Disha Patani to play the female lead in Allu Arjun starrer Icon. Allu Arjun is very impressed with the script of Icon, narrated by Sriram Venu which will be bankrolled by noted producer Dil Raju.
Currently the film is in pre production work and the makers are in the hunt of female lead. Allu Arjun wanted someone like Alia Bhatt as the female lead in it. Alia Bhatt is making her debut in Tollywood with RRR starring mega power star Ram Charan and Jr NTR, which is helmed by SS Rajamouli. Currently the actress has multiple movies in her kitty.
The sources close to the film unit revealed that Alia Bhatt has rejected Allu Arjun starrer Icon due to her busy shoot schedule and now the makers are considering Disha Patani. Disha Patani made her Telugu debut with Loafer, directed by Puri Jagannadh in which she shared the screen space with Varun Tej and if she gives her nod, she will be seen sharing working with Allu Arjun in Icon.
