Post the breakup with Andrew Kneebone, dusky siren Ileana D Cruz is planning to make her comeback in Telugu film Industry. The actress has already started signing films back-to-back. In Bollywood, Ileana D Cruz has worked withAjay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, her fans are eager to know if she has any plans of working with Salman Khan. She was last seen in Bollywood movie Pagalpanti. As a part of promotional activities, Ileana recently attended an interview and she revealed some interesting details. Ileana revealed that she missed two golden opportunities of working with Salman Khan.
According to Ileana D Cruz, she was approached for two Salman Khan starrers namely ‘Kick’ and ‘Wanted’ and she couldn’t do both the films due to some circumstances.
Ileana D Cruz said that she was approached to play the female lead in the remakes on ‘Pokiri’ and ‘Kick’ but had rejected the offer. As Ileana had played the female leads in its original versions, she was the first choice of Salman Khan starrer ‘Wanted’ and ‘Kick’.
Ileana D Cruz added that she had to deny ‘Wanted’, the remake of Pokiri, because she had her exams going on owing to which she couldn’t take up the offer. And later she had rejected kick because of date issue. According to her, she already gave dates to another film at that time and could not adjust them for Salman Khan starrer. In this way Ileana D Cruz missed two golden opportunities in her career.
Ileana D Cruz starrer Pagalpanti, is directed by Anees Bazmee, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series along with Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak under the banner of Panorama Studio . The film also has John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Urvashi Rautela, Anil Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla. The movie Pagalpanti has received mixed reviews from the audience and critics alike.
