Young hero Nithiin will be playing blind man role in his upcoming movie which is a remake to Bollywood hit film Andhadhun. Nithiin and Tagore Madhu have jointly acquired the remake rights. Nithiin has been showing special interest in the movie.
Merlapaka Gandhi has been roped in as the director for the movie. Even the project got launched before lock down and script change to suit Telugu nativity is going on. Shooting will start next year, once Nithiin completes all his prior commitments.
In Andhadhun, Tabu’s role is very crucial. It is the conflict between Tabu and Ayushman Khurana which makes the movie interesting. So makers of the Andhadhun remake approached Tabu for the same role but she has quoted a huge price. So they have now roped in Shilpa Shetty for the role.
Before Shilpa Shetty, makers have even approached Ileana for the role. But Ileana is trying to make her re-entry in Tollywood as heroine. As Tabu’s role is kind of older than her actual age and it is not a heroine role, Ileana outrightly rejected the offer. Ileana, according to the reports has now been roped in as female lead in Nagarjuna – Praveen Sattaru movie.
