 BCCI has started preparations for the ODI World Cup to be held in India in October-November. Restoration of important plains in the country is already underway. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board has taken a decision that they will not play with India in Ahmedabad.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has requested the ICC to schedule their matches at specific grounds if they get permission from the Pakistan government to participate in the ODI World Cup to be held in India . Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Governing Committee Chairman Najam Sethi has requested International Cricket Council (ICC) President Greg Barclay and Chief Executive Officer Geoff Allardyce not to hold any league matches at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

However , the PCB said that they have no objection to playing the knockout matches in Ahmedabad and asked the ICC to schedule Pakistan’s matches in Chennai, Bengaluru and Kolkata. In this ODI World Cup, the teams of India and Pakistan will face each other. The BCCI has submitted a proposal to hold this match in Ahmedabad, the world’s largest cricket stadium. But now PCB is reluctant to play the match on the same ground.

India has pulled out of the Asia Cup to be held in Pakistan. Other countries also supported India. There was news of Asia Cup in Sri Lanka. Due to this, some people are analyzing that the Pakistan Cricket Board is going to create a new problem for the BCCI in the matter of ODI World Cup grounds.
