On Sunday, nearly hundred girls from the far reaches of the cosmos descended upon Florida, Hollywood for the 69th Miss Universe pageant. The Miss Universe competition took place at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and & Casino, Hollywood, Florida. All the beauty pageant assembled here to give a very tough competition to each other for the crown of Miss Universer. From India, it’s Adline Quadros Castelino who has made it to the top 10 of the Miss Universe competition.
Adline Quadros Castelino from India occupied the fourth position. She is the 3rd runner up in Miss Universe 2020-21 pageant. She was inspired by the national flower of India, the Lotus, which symbolizes the knowledge and spirituality.
Adline Quadros Castelino who is also Liva Miss Diva Universe 2020 , is representing India at Miss Universe this year. Adline Castelino is from Kuwait who came to India to become a financially independent woman.
During an interview, Adline who is born to Manglorean Catholic parents hailing from Karnataka, said, “As a young girl growing up in Kuwait with no exposure, I would always look up to Miss Universe with so much awe but I never imagined a woman like me who had the speech defect and had marks on her body could ever represent her country India on such a prestigious platform.”
