As per the reports, Indians now having visa-free access to 60 destinations globally. In contrast to just 58 visa-free access destinations in Q4 2021, Indians who are having their passports can now have a right to visit along with the latest destinations Oman and Armenia without obtaining a visa.

India’s position has risen by seven ranks in the Henley Passport Index for Q1 of the year 2022. In the year 2021, India’s position was 90, and now, it’s position has raised to 83 this year.
The countries that are on the top global ranking are Japan and Singapore, having visa-free access to 192 countries, while Germany and South Korea have access to 190 destinations without visa.
Finland, Italy, Luxembourg and Spain are in third rank, those having visa-free access to 189 destinations. The fourth ranking goes to Austria, Denmark, France, Netherlands and Sweden, those having an availability to travel 188 nations without visa. Following this, Ireland and Portugal stood in 5th rank with visa-free access to 187 destinations.
The United States and the United Kingdom grabbed 6th rank for allowing the people to travel 186 destinations with visa-free access. In the year 2020, these two countries are in 8th position, but now, they have reached to 6th position by providing the opportunity.
Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Greece, and Malta are in 7th position, providing visa-free access to 185 countries. While, the 8th rank goes to Hungary and Poland, providing Visa-free access to 184 countries.
Following them, Luthiana and Slovokia stood in 9th position, whose passport holders can travel to 182 countries without having visa.
The chairman of Henley & Partners, and the founder of the passport index concept Christian H Kaelin has said that unwrapping migration channels is necessary for post-pandemic rehabilitation.
