While batting, Iyer gave Suryakumar the perfect helping hand when India lost their captain Rohit Sharma for a 15-ball 17 and reeling at 93/4 in the 14th over.

Suryakumar got out in the final delivery of the Indian innings. Captain Rohit dropped himself down to fourth position to help Ruthuraj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan. Next 3-match T20I series will be starting from February  24, between India and Sri Lanka.
