Akshara Haasan, the daughter of versatile actor Kamal Haasan and the sister of Shruti Haasan, is getting ready to test her luck in digital world once again. Akshara Haasan has been roped in a web series titled Fingertip.
Earlier Akshara Haasan had accepted the lead in a web series in the action thriller Goodbye Girl, an adaptation of Sheeja Jose’s book which went on to become one of India’s critically acclaimed and best sellers, she had said that irrespective of big or small screen, if the script and her character fascinate her she would gladly accept.
Akshara Haasan starrer web series Fingertip is a techno-thriller about the perils of using smart phones. Directed by Shivakar, the web series is being bankrolled by ace filmmaker Vishnu Vardhan. The series is shot by George C Williams and Dinesh Krishnan whereas it has the music by Deena Dayalan.
Akshara Haasan made her debut in Bollywood with Shamitabh starring Amitabh Bachcan and Dhanush, but the movie was bombed at the box office. Later she tested her luck in Kollywood and worked with Ajith in Vivegam. Recently she was seen in Mr KK starring Vikram. She was opposite to Abi Hassan in a challenging role. Instead of a film, this Akshara Haasan has chosen a web series for her next, titled Fingertip.
